CHILDREN’S TOYS AND LEAD

Effective Feb 2009 the new Consumer Product Safety Commission lead law went into effect. Included in this act are all youth ATVs, Go-carts and dirt bikes intended for use by a child under the age of 13.

While the majority of our parts are actually scooter parts, we must address the possibility that some of these parts also fit youth ATVs or Go-carts.

Because these ATVs or Go-carts have some parts such as the battery posts that contain lead, we can no longer sell any part or accessory that may be installed on an ATV or Go-cart that is operated or will be operated by a child under the age of 13.

While we have never know of a child chewing or otherwise ingesting an ATV or Go-cart part we must still comply with this new law.

Before we can process your order you must comfirm that you are an adult over the age of 18, have read this statement and agree to comply, and that any parts or accessories you are purchasing will not be installed on an ATV or Go-cart operated by a child under the age of 13.
